The Director of Marketing will be responsible for evaluating market environments and translating the information into marketing strategies to achieve strategic plan goals in the long-term. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy to support the business within the services business. Working closely with cross functional teams to develop and grow the services revenue. Ability to change thinking and get all teams on the same page for selling services not just product.

Scope of responsibilities range from aligning strategic initiatives with services teams to develop vision and strategy for existing and new service lines to new service offerings for a fee. Work closely with thought leaders and key customers in identifying unmet needs in the marketplace.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
• Key interface with services business groups.
Drive revenue from services offered, education and clinical services
• Develop strategic alignment across business partners.
• Ensure marketing programs and strategies are benchmarked against best-demonstrated practices within medical device markets
• Understand customer and market dynamics and trends in order to provide customers unmet needs.
• Develop strategic business plan, create an environment of operational excellence to drive implementation of the strategic business plan.
• Manage and develop staff, drive increased productivity while motivating employees.
• Lead project teams, key liaison with thought leaders.
Requirements:
• 6 years progressive marketing experience in global and regional roles with demonstrated record of success in driving services as a revenue center.
• Experience working in a global matrix environment,
• Experience building and leading international teams to deliver business results
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and excellent communication across functions, organizational levels and cultures
• Strong ability to understand both internal and external market environments.
• Ability to convert strategy to action.
• Strong skills and knowledge in areas of pricing, reimbursement and creative product/program development.
• Proven leadership in driving business objectives in a matrixed, global environment.
• High energy with ability to meet deadlines and maintain high work quality
• Extensive or medical device medical marketing experience
• Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
• Background in strategic planning and business development helpful.
* Experience with IBM, Microsoft or Oracle a plus.
